The Department of Infectious Diseases is located on the basis of the University Clinic of SSU where the HepatoCenter of the SSU MI, KNP "Medical Clinical Center of Infectious Diseases and Dermatology named after ZY Krasovitsky" (MCCIDD) successfully works.

The clinical base of the University Clinic of SSU is equipped with modern equipment for diagnosis and treatment. There are departments in the MCCIDD: for hospitalization of patients, resuscitation, reception, there is a clinical diagnostic laboratory and a number of other departments.

An agreement on cooperation has been concluded between the MCCIDD and Sumy State University. Under this agreement, both parties assume mutual obligations to jointly organize, improve and provide medical care to the population of the region.

The premises of the Department of Infectious Diseases are located on the fourth floor of the University Clinic of SSU, the second floor of the hospital.
