Notes.
1 Evaluations – evaluations based on the traditional scale are converted at the department into points depending on the number of topics.
The independent work of students, which is provided for in the topic, is evaluated during the current control of the topic in the corresponding lesson. The learning of topics that are assigned only to independent work is monitored during the final module control.
Individual work in the form of a report at clinical conferences of department bases or writing an abstract on a topic that is not included in the list of topics of content modules and related to issues of modern infectious disease.
Individual work is valued at 8 points (2 points each).
The maximum number of points that a student can score while studying the module is 200, including 120 points for the current educational activity, 80 points based on the results of the final module control (20 points for computer testing, 60 for theoretical control).
The minimum number of points that a student must score for the current educational activity when studying each module is determined by multiplying the number of module topics by the equivalent of points for a "satisfactory" rating ("3").
The student can work on the missed topics or rewrite them for a positive assessment to the teacher during his consultations (individual work with students) no more than 3 times during the study of the module, thereby gaining the number of points not less than the minimum to be admitted to the final module control .
2 Current control is carried out at each practical session in accordance with the specific goals of the topic and includes standardized forms of control of theoretical training and control of professional skills. Current control includes assessment of the level of knowledge (testing conducted online (with independent preparation), oral or written express survey, test control using test tasks), assessment of the main stage of practical training (control of professional skills during patient care, solving typical situational problems of increased level of difficulty), assessment of the final level of knowledge in the class (solving situational problems of the III level of difficulty, interpretation of the results of laboratory and other methods of examination of the patient).
3 The final module control is carried out upon completion of the study of all topics of the module at the last control session of the module. Students are admitted to the final module control, who have attended all the classroom classes prescribed by the curriculum in the discipline, and have scored at least the minimum number of points while studying the module. A student who, for a valid reason, had to miss classes, makes corrections to the individual study plan and is allowed to work off the academic debt by a certain specified time. For students who missed classes without valid reasons, the decision to complete them is made individually by the dean of the faculty.
The form of final control in the academic discipline "Current problems of HIV infection" should be standardized and include control of theoretical training (using standardized tasks: test tasks of format A in a written survey) and control of professional skills (level III situational tasks) in accordance with the OKH.
The final module control is considered passed if the student scored at least 50 points out of a possible 80. It is advisable to set the ratio of points for theoretical knowledge and professional skills (taking into account their leading role) as 40-30% : 60-70%.
