Regulations developed in accordance with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine from 31.01.2005 № 52, the Ministry of Education and Science 23.01.2004, № 49 and order MZ of Ukraine from 22.03.2004 № 148.
Credit-modular system involves the study of infectious diseases, structured on thematic modules as logically completed part of the curriculum. Assessment of discipline is defined as a sum of content modules discipline. Assessment for the module is defined as a sum of the daily survey of theoretical and practical training and computer-based testing on the topics under the program (including sections of independent work). Module-rate technique does not alter the traditional system of assessments and there beside her, promotes active participation of students during the study period.
Training required by the 100% attendance of lectures and practical exercises.
Most of discipline "infectious disease" has 200 points.
The curriculum in infectious diseases is divided into 5 modules of content that is only 180 hours, of which 10 - lectures, 70 - workshops, independent study students - 100.
Each practical class student receives 2 marks - for test control maximum - 0.5 score, for practical work max - 2.5 score, for final control - 5-6 points, of which 1.0- for computer control other - the verbal (written) response.
The maximum number of points that a student can score in the study module is 200, including the current educational activity - 120 points, the results of the final module control - 80 points.
Content module 1. Introduction to infection. Infectious diseases from fecal-oral mechanism of transmission (lectures – 2, workshops - 16, independent work - 19 hours, respectively) - 26 points, including 26 points, 21 points student can receives at workshops, 5 - in the final.
Content module 2. Infectious diseases of airborne transmission mechanism (lectures - 2 workshops - 16, independent work - 16.5 hours respectively) - 26 points, including 21.0 points a student can receive at workshops, 5 - in the final.

The end of 9 semester – modul with the introduction of evaluation in the statement (balls obtained during the practical and the final classes: (CM1+CM2)*3,85=modul).


Content module 3. Viral hepatitis. HIV infection (lectures – 4, workshops - 10, independent work - 9.5 hours, respectively) - 22 points, including 12.0 points a student can receive at workshops, 5 - in the final, 5 – curation and writing case history.
Content module 4. Infectious diseases transmissible mechanism of transfer (lectures - 0, workshops - 14, independent work - 14 hours, respectively) - 25 points, 15 of which student can get on practical exercises, 5 final and 5 defense case history.
Content module 5. Infectious diseases of the wound and multiple mechanisms of transmission (lectures – 0, workshops - 12, independent work - 15 hours, respectively) - 21 points, 15 of which - the student can get on practical exercises, 6 – admission to the exam.
Admission to the exam includes: computer testing (50-100 theoretical questions) and the solution of practical tasks. Practical task includes: examination of the patient, preparation of the patient's inspection plan, treatment plan with mandatory prescription recipe. Independent work of students, which is envisaged in the topic along with the auditorium, is evaluated during the current control of the topic in the relevant class. Assimilation of those that are issued only for independent work, is controlled during the final module control.
Individual work in the form of writing a diagram of differential diagnosis and the algorithm of patient examination is performed by students during content modules. Each individual work is estimated at 3 points.
Current control is carried out on each practical lesson in accordance with the specific goals of the topic and includes standardized forms of control theoretical training and control of professional skills. Current control includes assessment of the initial level of knowledge (oral or written express survey, test control using A test tasks), assessment of the main stage of practical training (control of professional skills during the management of patients, solving typical situational tasks), assessment of the final level of knowledge on classes (solution of situational tasks of level III, interpretation of the results of laboratory and other methods of examination of the patient).
The final annual control (exam) is carried out upon completion of the study of all the topics of the module. To the final annual control students who have attended all classes provided by the curriculum on discipline are allowed, and when studying the module, they scored a score of not less than the minimum. Students who have not completed the task of "writing a history of illness" or have received "2" on a traditional scale are not allowed to complete a modular control even in the absence of classroom absences and regardless of the number of points scored during the module.
The final annual control (examination) includes:
Exam: solving situational tasks (40 points), interviewing (40 points). The final annual control is considered to be enrolled if the student scored at least 50 points out of a possible 80.
In addition to the mandatory IRS that covered in calendar thematic terms, provided another form of IPC:
participate in the student circle the preparation of student work (published abstracts) + 4 points to final evaluation scores;
speech at the student conference + 4 points to the final assessment;
prize in the competition students - for first prize + 16 points for second + 14 points for 3rd place + 12 points to the final grade.
Final examination for the course of infectious diseases carried by adding points from the practical, final classes, final year control.
The student can work missing subject or retake them positive evaluations during his consultations (individual work with students) not more than 3 times during the module, thereby gain points not less than the minimum, to be admitted to the final module control .
Assessment of student discipline with exposed only to students who have enrolled all modules in the discipline.
marks of discipline for students who have successfully completed a program of discipline, the department converted a traditional four-point scale by absolute criteria, as shown in the table:

Estimates of discipline FX, F ("2") put students who have not passed at least one module of discipline after completion of the study.
Score FX assigned to students who have received the minimum number of points for current educational activity, but do not count the final module control. They have the right to repeat the final module control of the approved schedule. Repeating the final module control permitted not more than 2 times.
Note.
The structure of the 1st round of the Olympiad on infectious diseases:
- average score of practical and final classes - not less than 4;
- computer testing on the topics studied (50 questions) - maximum score 5;
- solving situational tasks "Step 2" (tasks from the topics studied, written testing) - maximum score 5;
- practical skills: examination and examination of the patient, formulation and substantiation of the preliminary diagnosis, preparation of the inspection plan, treatment appointment, - maximum score 5.
