Attendance Policy
The student must attend 100% of the practicals. In the case of missing classes, the student must make up the missed class in accordance with the work-out schedule approved by the department, subject to the relevant order of the dean's office.
Evaluation policy
The maximum number of points that a student can score while studying the module is 200, including 120 points for the current educational activity, 80 points based on the results of the final module control (10 points - computer testing, 30 - theoretical and 40 - practical CONTROL).
Current control is carried out at each practical lesson in accordance with the specific goals of the topic and includes standardized forms of control of theoretical training and control of professional skills. Current control includes assessment of the level of knowledge (testing conducted online, with independent preparation; oral or written express survey, test control using test tasks), assessment of the main stage of practical training (control of professional skills during the curation of patients, solving typical situational problems of a higher level complexity), assessment of the final level of knowledge in the class (solving situational problems of the III level of complexity, interpretation of the results of laboratory and other methods of examination of the patient).
The final module control is carried out after completing the study of all topics of the module at the last control session of the module. Students are admitted to the final module control, who have attended all the classroom classes prescribed by the curriculum in the discipline, and have scored at least the minimum number of points while studying the module. A student who, for a valid reason, had to miss classes, makes corrections to the individual study plan and is allowed to work off the academic debt by a certain specified time. For students who missed classes without valid reasons, the decision to make up for them is made individually.
The form of final control of the academic discipline includes control of theoretical training (using standardized tasks, test tasks) and control of professional skills (situational tasks of level III) in accordance with OKH.
The final module control is credited to the student if he scored at least 48 points out of 80. Incentive points are added to the grade for the discipline for the implementation of an individual research project (defense of the student's research paper 12 points, presentation at the conference 5 points, poster presentation at the conference 4 points, theses reports 3 points). The total score for the discipline cannot exceed 200 points.
Deadlines and Rescheduling Policy
Evaluation results from modular attestations may be subject to appeal. To do this, the applicant must submit an appeal to the director/dean on the day of the certification event or after the announcement of the results of the certification event, but no later than the next working day. By order of the director, an appeal commission is created. In case of an unsatisfactory result, the student has the right to retake the final module control twice - the first time to the examiner appointed by the head of the department, the second time - to the commission created by the dean's office. Rescheduling is carried out according to a separate schedule, which is approved by the dean's office. Students who did not appear for the final module control without a good reason are considered to have received an unsatisfactory grade. A student's refusal to perform an examination task is certified as an unsatisfactory answer. The student has the right to receive an explanation of the received grade. According to the decision of the appeals commission, the assessment can be changed if violations are found during the attestation.
