Regulation KKMRS the discipline of "Actual problems of HIV"
Assessment - is one of the final stages of training activities and determine the success of training. Assessment for the module is defined as a sum of current educational activities (in points) and evaluation of the final module control (in points), which is exposed in the assessment of theoretical knowledge and practical skills according to lists supplied by discipline. Current educational activities of students rated on a 4-point scale (traditional) scale using accepted to universities and methodic commission approved evaluation criteria for discipline. This takes into account all types of work provided methodological design for the proposed theme. Exhibited on the traditional scale for assessing the department converted into points depending on the number of topics in the module.
Independent work of students that provided, the subject is estimated during current topics’ controls at the appropriate lesson. Assimilation of topics to be considered only on independent work, supervised during the final module control.
Individual work in the form of reports on clinical conferences bases departments or writing an essay on a topic that is not included in the list of content modules and topics relating to issues of modern Infectology.
Individual work is estimated at 8 points (2 points each).
The maximum number of points
that a student can score in the study module is 200, including the current educational activities - 72 points, the results of the final module control - 80 points (20 points computer testing, 60 - theoretical control).
The minimum number of points
that a student must collect for current educational activity in the study of each module is determined by multiplying the number of topics’ modules and the equivalent points for a "satisfactory" ("3").
The student can work missing subject or retake them positive evaluations during his consultations (individual work with students) not more than 3 times during the module, thereby gain points not less than the minimum, to be admitted to the final module control .
Current control
is exercised at every practice session, according to specific themes and objectives includes standardized forms of control theoretical training and supervision of professional skills. Current control includes evaluation of knowledge (oral or written express survey, test control using tests of format), evaluation of the basic stage of practical training (control professional skills during Supervision patients cope with typical situational problems of higher complexity), evaluation of the final level knowledge in class (solving situational problems III difficulty level, interpretation of laboratory and other methods of examination of the patient).
The final control module
is exercised at the end of the study of all subjects’ modules on the last session of the control module. In the final module control students who attended all included in the curriculum of classroom discipline, and the student took scores of no less than the minimum. Students who had a good reason omissions classes, adjustments are made to individual curriculum and academic debt permitted to work up to a certain specified time limit. For students who missed training sessions without good reason, the decision on their working individually made dean of the faculty.
The form of the final control of the subject matter "Actual problems of infectious diseases and HIV infection" should be standardized and include control of theoretical training (using standardized tasks: tests of format in a written survey) and control of occupational skills (situational problems III level) respectively to EQC.
The final module control
is passed if the student scored at least 50 points out of possible 80. It is advisable to set the value of points for theoretical knowledge and professional skills (given their leading role) as 40-30%: 60-70%.
Assessment of student discipline with exposed only to students who have enrolled all thematic modules of discipline. The number of points scored by a student in the discipline, is defined as the mean number of points of all content modules discipline (sum of scores for all modules divided by the number of modules discipline).
Objectivity evaluation of learning activities
of students is tested by statistical methods (correlation coefficient between the current progress and results of the final module control).
Marks of discipline for students who have successfully completed the program with discipline, converted into a traditional four-point scale in absolute criteria as follows: marks of discipline and the corresponding rating:
200-170 points - 5 (excellent) credited;
169,9-140 points - 4 (good) credited;
139,9-120 points - 3 (satisfactory) credited;
119.9 points and below - 2 (unsatisfactory) not credited.
Estimates of discipline not credited ("2") put students who have not passed at least one semantic module with discipline after completion of the study.
Score not credited assigned to students who have received the minimum number of points for current educational activity, but do not count the final module control. They have the right to repeat the final module control the approved schedule. Repeating the final module control permitted not more than 2 times.
Score not credited assigned to students who did not receive the minimum number of points for current educational activity and not admitted to the final control module. They have the right to repeat the module in accordance with the regulations.
Assessment ECTS is not converted into a traditional four-point scale (because these systems are independent assessment) and exposed in addition to the diploma after student teaching in higher medical.
In addition to the mandatory individual work of students that covered in calendar thematic terms, provided another form of individual work of students:
- Participation in the student circle the preparation of student work
(published abstracts)
+ 4 points to the final grade in points;
- Speech at the Student Conference + 4 points to the final grade;
- Prize in the competition students - for one prize + 16 points for second + 14 points for 3rd place + 12 points to the final grade.
